Gustavo Dudamel, the young, curly-haired, Venezuelan who took the classical music world by storm when he became the Music Director of the LA Philharmonic in 2009, appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night to discuss playing music with his Dad, getting the Bieber haircut, and firing up young people about classical music. Dudamel is no stranger to the media spotlight, but its still odd (in the best possible way) to see him on late night. His passion, hand gestures, and accent are infectious to say the least.
