Robert Duvall's Hand And Footprint Ceremony At Grauman's Chinese

Actor Robert Duvall has starred in numerous movies like The Godfather, Crazy Heart, and Get Low, but he left his official mark on Hollywood on Wednesday during his hand and footprint ceremony outside the Grauman's Chinese Theater. A-list actors Billy Bob Thornton, Andy Garcia, and James Caan attended the ceremony, speaking on behalf of Duvall as he signed his name alongside his prints. The celebration continued at a small reception at The Roosevelt Hotel.

Duvall is a great, brilliant actor. He's also a proud and quiet conservative. But contrary to the Hollywood Conservative Blacklisting fear, as far as I know he's respected and liked by just about everyone in the industry. Which does my heart good that unlike a lot of people on this site, not everyone chooses their friends based on political agreement.

Tom Hagen, Augustus McCrae, Mac Sledge, Lt Col. Bill Kilgore, Earl Pilcher Jr., and about a gazillion other memorable characters. How could it possibly have taken so long to get Robert Duvall's hands and feet in cement at Grauman's? Better late than never...
