Tom Brady, Mark Sanchez Rated By WWD Fashion-Football Panel (CHART)

First Posted: 01/06/11 01:05 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:25 PM ET

WWD kicked off its new Thursday section "Mensweek" with a football-related grid we can really get behind, although we don't know much about the game other than shoulder pads are in. Every season.

Put together by WWD Executive Editor Bridget Foley, WWD's Matthew Lynch, Allure's Michael Carl, Flaunt's Long Nguyen and Debi Greenberg of Louis Boston, the fashion newspaper rated this season's most stylish starting quarterbacks.

The deets:

Playoff-bound starting quarterbacks were rated on a scale of 1-5 (which seemed simpler than 1-10) in four football and six non-football categories. Multiplied by two, the maximum possible score was 100. Total negatives were multiplied by two and subtracted from the previous scores. Panelists' individual rankings were averaged for the overall WWD Passer Ratings.

So who scored the sartorial touchdown? Mr. Tom Brady, of course, Gisele's hubba-hubby. But, please do note that he earned a 4.75 for "Jerk Quotient," which we're guessing is bad. It can't be good.

Check out the chart below. And for more, visit WWD.

The Sporting News should do a similar evaluation of Aniston, Jolie, Paltrow & the Kardashian company. They could use criteria such as durability, leadership skills, pocket presence, reading the defense, agility, injury prone etc. to rate the diva's career prospects. I'm sure it would be as fascinating a read as the above.

Wow. 4.75 on the jerk quotient for Tom. The only guys who did worse are an alleged rapist and a dog killer. Wonder what Tom's done to deserve that?

Yikes! Michael Vick should be like given a 10 for legal woes since he has done time in Leavenworth.

This is kind of why the NFL s**ks.

I couldn't stand it when people were talking about the Jets/Pats rivalry, and they were saying that it was a rivalry because both quarterbacks are pretty boys, and both coaches are cheaters. (They didn't put that in there, but it happens to be true.) Then the Pats absolutely whipped the Jets and exposed them as the mediocre team that they are.

Wow, shocker, everyone on the panel lives in New York or New England. Tom Brady should get a -30 for his hair.

And Mark Sanchez should get -10 for being associated with Rex Ryan.
