Those legs I heard about on Top Gear quite a while ago I think...

The ford car is impressive, but I wonder how long the charge would last at top speed. That said, still not a car I'd take on a cross country trip with me... LoL.

With electric cars, do they do better if you let the charge run down? Or can you charge up from any level? If it's the later- cool. If it's the former... eh...

descriptions would have been helpful

The most interesting of those to me was the RCA Airpower thing. It extracts EMF energy from WiFi signals to charge your (phone) battery.

That's so interesting because wireless distribution of power was one of Tesla's ideas, about 100 years ago.

Indeed. Thanks.

A laptop-sized control pad with a tiny iPhone-sized screen is completely worthless.
01:15 AM on 01/10/2011
It would have been logical to put some commentary to accompany the photos. A few of these I have no clue what they are or do.
01:27 AM on 01/10/2011
Exactly. A very poorly crafted article. "Look, a laptop! So, what's it do that's new?"

Great...another useless slide show with such minimal descriptions of the devices that it's impossible to tell whether they're anything more than nicely-packaged garbage. Great work. Keep it up. Freakin' ijits.

How are we supposed to rate these products when there's no description under the photos telling us whe the he11 we're looking at?
11:47 PM on 01/09/2011

I thought the best...of the best products of CES 2011 was the telepathic ink used to describe these awesome new gadgets...

It's a test. You have to use "The force."

Mmmm...pretty pictures....

What'd'ya know. The very first commenter has the exact same gripe as I do. Maybe Huffpo should start thinking before it does this. By the way, if you're really in India, I recommend the book Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts
