Reggie Wayne On Playoff Performance: 'I Shouldn't Have Suited Up'

Colts Receiver Lashes Out

Indianapolis Colts receiver Reggie Wayne only had one catch for one yard in their 17-16 playoff loss to the New York Jets on Saturday. After the game, he lashed out to the Indy Star about his one reception.

"It's bull. It's bull, man. I give everything I've got no matter what. Every day, I give it everything. And, one ball, that's all," Wayne said.

Quarterback Peyton Manning had only thrown one ball his way throughout the entire game as New York's Darrelle Revis defended him. Wayne finished second in the league in receptions with 111 during the regular season.

"I shouldn't have even suited up," he continued. "I should have watched the game like everybody else. I was irrelevant."

Manning tried to explain Wayne's performance, saying that "it was just a matter of throwing to the guy that was open on each progression."
