How about Austria, Czech Republic & Croatia... I'll be going to these countries soon, so it would be nice to know how tips vary at each locale.

Anybody?

This is a grossly inaccurate and poorly researched "article" - there is no tipping in China (although I do tend to tip a bellman a buck a bag) I know this as I live here. And why in the world would you suggest leaving another 5 - 10% if there is already a service charge on the bill????

Broken down by continent? silly. Tipping customs vary by country, or area, not by entire continents.

In Moldova the norm is 2-4%. If you tip the US way you will only pee off the locals.
Couple of hundred miles away in Odessa, you need to think about 10%

Exactly right. England 10-15%. France 2% if that.

tipping isn't really required in England, nice but not really part of the culture, except in restaurants, maybe.
