A University of Maryland student was shot and killed Tuesday morning near campus, NBC Washington reports.
Police say the shooting was drug-related. According to the Associated Press, the 22-year-old victim was shot in his home and a suspect in a black ski mask was observed leaving the scene.
The victim was the 11th homicide in the area in as many days.
