Denver Restaurant Week Picks (PHOTOS)

Earlier this week, Visit Denver, the city's convention and visitors bureau, unveiled the participants for this year's Denver Restaurant Week. Now in it's 7th year, Denver Restaurant Week describes itself as a two-week celebration of the city's culinary scene, during which participating restaurants will offer a multi-course dinner for the fixed price of $52.80 for two, or $26.40 for one.

Below, we've compiled our list of 10 restaurants' menus that we're most excited about trying, many of which come from new restaurants that are participating in the event for the first time.

Jicama Salad with Grapefruit Segments, Tri-Color Quinoa and Organic Greens, tossed with a Sweet Orange Vinaigrette
New England Clam Chowder ~ Little Neck Clams Stewed with Red Potatoes, Parsnips and Celery in a Pancetta Béchamel

Second Course
Your choice of one each:
Grilled Flat Iron Steak over Warm Potato Salad, topped with Caramelized Shallot Vinaigrette
Steamed Canadian Salmon over Spinach Orzo Salad, tossed with Ricotta, Roasted Peppers, Pine Nuts and Sage Pesto Dressing
Braised Cardoons tossed with Tagliatelle Pasta, Olive Oil, Marjoram, and topped with Chimayo Chile Oil

Flourless Chocolate Cake with Espresso Chocolate Sauce
Raspberry Chiffon Cake topped with Meyers Lemon Curd and Fresh Cream
