As we eagerly anticipate what -- and who, we suppose -- comes down the red carpet on Sunday night, it seems like a fun time to take a look back at the way Golden Globes fashion was in the '50s, '60s, '70s, and '80s. There's scary stuff in here (see: Rebecca De Mornay), but there's also some seriously inspiring style.

It seems like the best dressed women of all time, whom attended the Golden Globes, or any other award show, were the classics, from way back... Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Wood, Elizabeth Taylor, etc... They're looks were timeless and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we see equisitely dressed actresses, like Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway, Halle Barry, etc, dressed a lot like the classic women from the 1950's and 1960's.. Also, on a side note.. When I saw the photo of Sonny and Cher, I just had to giggle, b/c Cher has not changed at all... She still wears Bob Mackie gowns, and they're usually very, um, skimpy! lol Not much has changed over the years, after all!!!!
