Natalie Portman Leaving Public Eye After Baby's Birth

Don't ask Natalie Portman about the color scheme for her baby's room - the actress says it's way too soon to start planning the arrival of the child she's expecting with her fiancé Benjamin Millepied.

"I'm very superstitious," Portman, 29, said Tuesday at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie No Strings Attached, in which she stars with Ashton Kutcher.

um not all stars use nannies Sophia Loren didn't Amy Adams doesn't and Mariah Carey has said she's not going to when her twins are born so shut up. Natalie isn't going to win the oscar a nomination maybe but winning is a totally different thing. some stars that used Nannies when their children were small have openly admitted to feeling guilty about that Joanne Woodward for example but the difference is she had won an oscar before she had children of her own though she had stepchildren from her husband's first marriage and had also suffered a miscarriage on their honeymoon something Natalie hopefully never experiences though Paul had to leave the next day for rehersals for his next film Cat On A Hot Tin Roof which won him his first oscar nomination though he lost to David Niven like a day and a half before their oldest daughter Eleanore was born though hollywood was totally different back then

Natalie, you have finally made it to the point of being a well-respected and award winning actress known for your class and your excellent choice in roles. Are you sure you want to commit career suicide after making yourself such a world renowned and respected actress. Look at what happened to Gwyneth Paltrow after disappearing from the acting public eye. You have always made sound decisions in your career. Maybe you can take time off but still be super picky about the roles you choose.

I am very glad that she is leaving because her performances are very lukewarm and flat. I have never seen her in a movie that is impressive or exhibits any real acting chops.

Black Swan? V for Vendetta? I think she's a good actress, she just doesn't get oscar level roles is all. She was fantastic in Black Swan though!

Closer is magnificent, so is "Black Swan" and even "V". She is lovely! When she is saying "I had the craziest dream last night. I was dancing the white swan. It was a different choreography, though, it was more like Bolshoy's" you actually see how natural and amazing she is.

I love her professionally and am happy she is taking time to build a life in the real world life is short and you must be smart enough to make the best of it...There will always be another movie , photo shoot etc but love and children don't come every day go for it.

If it were not for Natalie having to be out there promoting her films I doubt we would even know she was pregnant because she is very good at hiding and Im glad she plans to get out of the public.

All of this attention on her personal life is not her style as I fan I don't like seeing it and it won't end unless she pulls away from it all together.

She does a movie with Ashton Kutcher and then disses him really badly at the premier...Very poor taste Natalie...She acts like she will be nominated and win the Oscar..then go away for awhile and have her baby with the guy that cheated on his long time live in girl friend with her. Be careful on the way up, because you will be coming down eventually and it maybe very hard in her case! Bye Bye Natalie! Have a great hiatus!
