MLK Jr. Day Of Service In Los Angeles

First Posted: 01/17/11 12:50 PM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 07:25 PM ET

If you've got a day off, consider donating some time to service in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum, Arlington Gardens in Pasadena, and City Year are all organizing opportunities to get involved in the community (you can search for more near your zipcode here). And if you're not too pooped, check out a SyFy party in the evening to celebrate the premiere of Being Human or a REDCAT screening of experimental film from "beat-era San Francisco."
