In an interview with NBA writer Ian Thompson of Sports Illustrated, Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony weighed in on the chances of an NBA lockout.
"I've been sitting in meetings with the owners and seeing what is their problem with everything," he said. "I've been in several of the meetings to know what the problem is and what's going on. It's going to take some time to get the owners and the players on the same page."
When asked if there was going to be a lockout, Anthony said "Oh, without a doubt. Without a doubt."
In the same interview, Anthony discussed the trade rumors surrounding him and being a free agent at the end of the season.
Anthony said that he "would never go about it the way LeBron did it."
