Divorced Stars Step Out At The 2011 Golden Globes (PHOTOS)

The 2011 Golden Globes marked the beginning of January's award season, and dozens of celebrities walked the red carpet with high hopes of avoiding the worst-dressed list. The pressure was especially high for recently divorced stars whose Golden Globes' debuts may have been their first red-carpet sighting post split. The following seven stars held their heads high.

Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria filed for divorce in November 2010 after discovering that ex Tony Parker had been "sexting" with a former teammate's wife. For her first red carpet debut post-divorce, she chose a form-fitting, black Zac Posen gown with Sergio Rossi shoes and Neil Lane earrings.

I am SO tired of HuffPo highlighting the negative with their headlines. I thought that you aimed to be "different" than mainstream media. Work less at"making" news, by creating pointless articles like this, and more on FINDING news that will uplift people and make them feel empowered! Geez.

Eva looks stunning - the dress is gorgeous and she looks very lovely - I would say that Sandra has looked better in the hair and dress department - the rest of them probably could have picked out better gowns except Michael who is surrounded by lovely ladies. I am sure that these people would not be divorced if they wanted something else - I don't like to see divorce linked with them because it looks like they have a disease or something!!!

-Scarlett Johansson: It looks like someone took a Bedazzler to my grandmother's curtains and tricked you into wearing them.

-Michael C. Hall: Pick a color?

-Christina Aguilera: No matter how much I love you, I can't seem to shake the fact that you're beginning to look like Ursula from The Little Mermaid.

-Elisabeth Moss: Kind of looks like Macaulay Culkin in a wig.

-Kate Walsh: I'm pretty sure those earrings lure mosquitos in with light and then electrocute them. They go great with the shiny wrapping paper she's wearing.

How funny! I was actually keeping a running list for the Best Performance by a Male/Female Lead in a First Divorce category while watching the show. I included Darren Aronofsky on my list until I remembered that he and Rachel Weisz never got married.
