Yale Daily News:

Before his students enter the classroom on a Tuesday morning in November, retired four-star Gen. Stanley McChrystal scrawls the phrase "TRUST AND RELATIONSHIPS" in all caps on the whiteboard.

Two months ago, a group of graduate and undergraduate students were intimidated by the University's new star professor, but now they know better what to expect from his course titled "Leadership."

I have realized why Bush graduated from Yale. The Yale University promote WAR MACHINE, and this the reason they have hired this GENERAL. He has lost the Afghanistan War, he will talk about loses.

Hope he tells everyone how he handled the Tillman shooting. A show of poor leadership and dishonesty on his part. He could also show his disrespect for the President with his speeches press in for 40,000 more troops and failing in his first attempt against the Taliban. What's wrong here?

Hopefully, part of the general's course will include the multiple reasons why, on the whole, American leadership has utterly failed the country since Vietnam, which brought us "The Best & the Brightest," through Enron and "The Smartest Guys in the Room," not to mention the abysmal leadership of the likes of Alan Greenspan, George W. Bush, and numerous others whose arrogance and hubris--all marinated in money--have brought America into a state of genuine decline.

We got NBC interviewing a war criminal,
Waterboarding is torture - check
the Iraq war an occupation was illegal - check
Extraordinary Rendition is kidnapping - check

Yoo is also responsible for murder and torture, and wears a suit jacket to teach the few students who have to take his classes because they need to graduate. We pay Yoo over $250,000 a year to teach less than 20 students.

what's with Yale, anyway? Skull and bones. War memorial right in the center of campus. And now this?

Isn't Yale an institution of higher learning? Or is it a recruiting mecca for the CIA?

As a75yr old retired teacher, I would require that all students in the class read George Orwell's "1984" and Howard Zinn's history of the Veitnam War, before McChrystal presented his propaganda.

I saw, heard, and endured U.S. Military propaganda first hand, just like 100% of those who were filled with it from your first day in BOOT. If you have the guts, read ZINN'S "A PEOPLE'S HISTORY of the UNITED STATES." And, you will know exactly how I know.

"Stan" said governments need to be about to operate in secret because the people wouldn't understand the secret sausage making involved. I'm sure he's correct. I, for one, would certainly not understand their secret business deals (war especially included) of private empire building proportions. I wonder if "Stan" has had a secret dinner at "Skull & Bones" where he could really lecture the "Haves" about the "Help".
