Calvin Klein Throwing 21st Birthday Bash For Nick Gruber

Page Six reports that Calvin Klein is throwing a huge birthday bash for model and possible boyfriend Nicholas Gruber's 21st.

A source told the gossip column that the invite reads: "In the spirit of the New Year and in celebration of Nick Gruber's birthday, please join Calvin Klein for dinner and drinks at Indochine Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. It will be the hottest ticket for New York's gay and fashion elite." Ours must have gotten lost in the mail.

Klein and Gruber have been attached at the hip since last year. Check out where they've been lately.

Awwww all the love money can buy. If you can afford it and realize it is what it is - who cares, enjoy it. But he could have purchased a cuter model - the guy is ok but not quite hot enough for what Calvin is paying for with his dignity.

These fashion elite types are frequently frightening. But what we have here is stepped-up scary. It looks like grandpa and grandson out on the town. And the shot of them, both wearing white shirts and flip-flops – yikes!

This is not about bashing someones happiness, it is about thinking you can pull off stunts like this and not have people stunned and gossiping. It's a "bad accident" thing.

We never think twice when a rich older man dates a younger woman (Hugh Hefner, Larry King-- etc.).

But, if it's a WOMAN or god help us a gay man... I don't get the outrage (homophobia, mysogeny, latent?).

Who cares if the young man was in porn. Like that's some sort of crime? Half the people in your office where you are likely typing your messages from probably have porn open in another browser window-- or you do. Someone has to act the porn until Pixar gets good enough we don't know the difference.

Good for Calvin, and good for this young man who will hopefully make something of his luck.

Yes, Kelly was married to him. Rumor had it that she was sick of his male get together dinners and the like. She would be the only female. I'm sure she knew he was gay. She probably knew she would be his beard since she got a hefty divorce settlement.
