Coffee makes women more "yang." Most men don't need to be more of that-- in fact, it would probably bring out their competitive tendencies.

By nature men are swords and women are doors. A man can have many door qualities ..as a woman can brandish the sword. Is this based in their biology? in psychology? social conditioning?
stereotyping?
Sure it is.

I do wonder if this research was done with standard office coffee or fresh ground and brewed? There are many culture modifications that have been set up to deal with the stimulative effects of coffee and tea.
Perhaps making expresso at the beginning of the meeting might not rile the men so much.
The Italians have for a long time recognized that expresso was much less combative for males and still highly stimulating.
Variety of coffee might make a difference. They should try a good Kona or especially a pure Blue Mountain. Contrast the effects of these to the ground coffee portions that come from the janitorial service.

BTW - Researchers might also try green tea served in tea ceremony style.... then test for conflict when males take a meeting. Green tea and ceremony specifically quells the beast within .. and it has a long history of being consumed by men with swords.
