Chicago won the NFC North, earned the No. 2 seed in the conference and squashed the Seattle Seahawks 35-24 in the Divisional round. The Bears will host the division rival Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship. These two teams split the season series, each winning on their home field.
The Green Bay Packers have won two games on the road and will take on the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. Green Bay, the No. 6 seed, took down Philadelphia 21-16 in the Wild Card round and then crushed the top seeded Atlanta Falcons 48-21 in the Georgia Dome. Aaron Rodgers has been on fire, throwing three touchdown passes and only recording five incomplete passes against Atlanta.
The New York Jets knocked out Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round. Then they eliminated Tom Brady's New England Patriots on the road to reach the AFC Championship game. The No. 6 seed Jets take on the No. 2 seed Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at Heinz Field.
The Pittsburgh Steelers earned the No. 2 seed in the AFC and a first-round bye. They beat their AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional round 31-24 and will host the New York Jets in the AFC Championship. Ben Roethlisberger, who is 9-2 in the playoffs, threw for 226 yards and two touchdowns in Pittsburgh's comeback victory over the Ravens.
