MSNBC President Phil Griffin: 'Nothing Changes' At MSNBC After Olbermann Exit

MSNBC President Phil Griffin spoke out for the first time since Keith Olbermann's sudden exit from the network. Speaking to The Wrap, Griffin sounded a note of continuity.

"Change has happened, and we have a great bench, we're deep, and we know who we are," Griffin said. "Nothing changes. Our vision's the same, our goals are the same. Fox is in front of us, that's where we're heading."

Griffin also praised Olbermann's replacement in the 8 P.M. time slot, Lawrence O'Donnell, and said that his ratings goal was the same as ever: to beat O'Reilly.

One person who may or may not be watching O'Donnell's first episode at 8 on Monday night? Keith Olbermann. In a tweet posted Monday afternoon, he promised to issue "my first tweet (well, other than this one)" at "exactly 8 Eastern" on Monday.
