In a series of YouTube videos posted online this weekend, Steve Harvey's ex-wife Mary chronicles the demise of her marriage and ruthless divorce.

She alleges that the famed comedian and author cheated on her throughout their marriage and left her with nothing after their divorce.

"He turned my son against me, had me evicted me from our house, I was thrown out...he manipulated the courts, everything against me," she says. "I woke up everything was gone."

Despite constant clues that Harvey had been cheating throughout their marriage, including letters and phone calls sent by mistresses to their home, Mary claims she stayed in the relationship as long as she could for the benefit of her family.

"What made me stay was that Steve was my second husband and in my opinion, he was going to be my second and last," she says. "I love my family, I worked for my family, my family was my support, my foundation. I wanted a family for my son, something that I never had."

The couple divorced in 2005. Two years later, Steve Harvey married Marjorie Bridges, whom Mary alleges was involved with her husband during their marriage.

A book she read entitled "Why Do I Have To Think Like A Man" inspired Mary's outburst, in addition to recent a magazine article (Essence's January 11 Steve Harvey cover story) and lawsuit filed against her.

"To keep seeing my name referenced when talking about his life, that part of it, I don't understand," she says.

She also claims that Steve is suing her in Texas because Oprah did not give him a TV show, which--in his opinion--is her fault.

"As much as I'm trying to move forward I keep being pulled back into a situation that I don't want to be apart of. That is why I have to deal with this right now," she says.

In response, a statement from Steve Harvey's attorney says: "We are appalled and aware of the videos and other fabricated documents ... which contained false, misleading, derogatory, disparaging, malicious, explicit and slanderous information about Mr. Harvey, his current wife and others."

"We are saddened that the ex-wife has resorted to such devious and selfish behavior, with a reckless disregard for their minor son, her adult son and Mr. Harvey's other children," the statement adds.

Most of the posters on here are projecting the own live into this one. No one knows the story here but Steve and Mary. Also, division of Property, child and spousal support is pretty standard. Most states have formulas that they use, add to the fact most states are no fault, for any spouse to say , especially a women that they got $, there is something missing here. And if she had all this proof that he was cheating most courts consider this. This woman just cheapens herself by doing this and shows she is still holding on to anger and bitterness. You harvest the crops you sow.

I think he's a liar and full of bull. I don't know why people try to act like they are saints when none of us are. It's a shame how he did his ex wife and I believe her every word. Now he wants to act like he didn't do anything! GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!

Are we overlooking the fact that Steve Harvey was never the 'King of Comedy.?' Let's just have a 'Come to Jesus Meeting' about a couple of things. First of all, Bernie Mac, Cedric, Earthquake, J. Anthony Brown, D.L. Hughley, Martin Lawrence, Mike Epps, Chris Rock and Chris Tucker all out rank him. This is why Nephew Tommie has to sit at the back of the bus on the show. I guess Tommie's not so stupid after all. Hell, even Rickey Smiley's funnier.
Secondly, can we all agree that Tommie is not his nephew (in real life). And Tommie's 'pretend to be mother' is really Cassie Davis from 'House of Payne.' It's comedy and we all enjoy it. But don't sit up here and act like you (Bro Harvey) are the answer to sinners coming to Jesus.
Lastly, Steve and Eddie Long both had false hair. That says volumes. Peace!

How many of you will still trip over yourselves as you rush to the radio in the morning to hear his fake sermons before work?

...cont. Perhaps Steve's jealousy is what fueled his need to move forward beyond being a stand-up comic. Look at his relationship with (now deceased) Bernie Mac, Bernie had a hit television show (I didn't care for it, but..) Bernie starred in the blockbuster Ocean's Eleven movies with some of Hollywood's biggest stars...

While Steve was still on the road and radio hustling. After he piggy-backed off what Boomerang had done; Steve manage to get some nationwide notoriety. Look at him now, national radio show, author, and the latest host of Family Feud. It's not enough for him?

Others also went on to being stars outside of stand up and the Steve Harvey Show, like Cedric and Wendy Raquel Robinson.

Steve is suing the ex for defamation of character, but if you kept your character in tact, there wouldn't be an issue. Mainly, he's annoyed about not being apart of Oprah's network of advisers, but did he seriously think that would happen? His hue is far from the qualifying factor used in the O's selection process. LoL Seriously, he can't blame the ex for Oprah's decision, she does a serious background on ppl she supports.

Anyway, ghetto drama is bad no matter what neighborhood you're from or have moved to.

Hearing someone air their dirty sorted laundry in public has always been an annoyance. This is no different - both parties are annoying. Mary has chosen to slam Steve 5 years after the fact, ummm that is interesting. I hear she's doing it because she claims to have no access to HER son, Wynton. According to her former assistant who was on 107.9 fm (Atl) that's not entirely true, she sent Wynton to his father. So what is it she's really after? Revenge, money, or what? Whatever her motives are, she should have attempted to resolve them minus the media attention, or perhaps that is what she was seeking all along. There are too many spouses of entertainers, stars, and the like that want their 15 minutes of fame and then some.

The he-said she-said dramatic mess, is very immature as are the individuals involved in this crap.
I agree, with those saying that Steve has no business giving out relationship advice, but who does? I thought it interesting that Steve decided to write a book after his former body guard Boomerang got so much publicity from his book.

She was silent all these years until Steve decided to sue her in Texas for what he feels is his lost opportunity to have a show on the Oprah Network. Everyone knows that Oprah will do a serious background check before she messes with you. Obviously, he failed the background check and now he is suing her.

Chrystal, read the story, she only spoke up because he is SUING her. He felt she cost him a job. he blamed her for Oprah not giving him a show. That's why she's speaking up now.

Hopefully he could take his books and his tacky clothes and leave us in peace. No more relationship advice from unqualified candidates.

Now Steve Harvey knows the meaning of Karma , and "What goes around Comes Around " . I read where she used his attorney in the divorce proceedings. I guess she thought he would be fair. Steve's ex is probably doing as his book says, "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man" . He should have known that the way he treats people it will come back to haunt him. I'll guess he never thought in a million years that Oprah would offer him a show on her network.

That is what the lawsuite is based upon. He bad publicity kept him from getting a spot on the new network. But I don't think people should be dazzled by his personality , before checking his background . His own relationship problems are terrible. I wouldn't want to get any advice from him, and he is labeling himself as a relationship person.

brent I doubt it, he probably feels like she should have. If Oprah offered him a show, he would be there right now.

Why do women always play the martyr roll?: I did everything I could and I just don't understand why he would do this to me??!!

IF I ever met a women who said, "I take responsibility for my part in this failed union", I think I would fall over!!

I enjoyed Steve Harvey's humor when I first saw him @ The Apollo in 1988. However once he started accumulating monetary attributes his disposition changed and I no longer viewed him as being funny. Something about Harvey started to rub me the wrong way. All of a sudden he became a self appointed authority on every subject imaginable. Those awful suits further tarnished his reputation with me. Than once I read Bernie Mac's autobiography, it confirmed what I was feeling and that feeling was not good.

If I had spent over a decade married to a man who lied, cheated and conned me into a quickie, disadvantageous divorce, it would be the biggest hurt of my life and I would fight that battle within myself to be strong and move on. Frankly, no one deserves to be lied to and cheated on by their spouse, there is an honorable way to end a marriage - and this wasn't it.

Now, if that man also decided to sue me years later because his own bad behavior led to a situation that precluded him from having a talk show endorsed by Oprah, that would be adding gasoline to a dying fire.

Mix in him having success giving marriage and relationship advice and standing up as an expert on being a good and honorable human being while married to one of the women that he violated our marriage vows with - and then you would probably see that gasoline-lit fire begin to rage. For the former Mrs. Harvey to have simply put out her facts in an online video, I applaud her. Because episodes of Snapped on Oxygen have been built off of less than what she's endured.

I agree with you. He never knew that he would gain so much popularity. Just thought he would be doing stand up the rest of his life. Now he is crying.

I have never cared for Steve Harvey and always saw him as being "fake and phony." I believe her and it seems like she has documentation to back her some of her claims. As for the comments about her being bitter and letting go, or that it was all Steve's stuff - what a bunch of crap! The addage of "what goes around, come around" and "you reap what you sow" is true and Steve will get all that he deserves; so will his current wife. If he is a "serial cheater" as is known to be, then the same thing will happen to the current Mrs. Harvey and don't even get me started on him being a "relationship expert" - after 2 divorces and 3 marriages - puhleease......

Sad. No one should try to hang on to an illusion of marriage, no matter which number marriage it is. She deserved a better life and should not have been so adamant about "second and last marriage". He evolved and she either stayed the same or did not evolve in a way that kept them on the same route in life. That happens. One can be as loyal as possible but if they're no longer compatible, there should be a respectful splitting. They should have maturely parted when he started to cheat and change (but hey, he could've been cheating even before he was famous…). It was his fault to cheat; he's weak, too weak to have broken up, too weak to not get married to someone more compatible, too weak to keep his vows. Hopefully his new wife wasn't one of the mistresses; she'll never be superwoman-enough to stop a serial cheater from continuing to cheat.
