For those of you not familiar with Congresswoman Noem, here are a few facts about her.

1. Sorry, fellas. She's taken.

Kristi, 39, lives with her husband, Bryon, and three children, Kassidy, Kennedy, and Booker, on a ranch near Castlewood, [South Dakota] where the family raises Angus cattle and also shows Quarter Horses. Kristi actively farmed with her family for 17 years, owned and operated a hunting operation, and helped manage the family restaurant.

2. She's still a student.

Kristi began her college education at Northern State, later transferring to SDSU [South Dakota State University] and taking classes at Mount Marty in Watertown as well. The unexpected death of her father required Kristi to return to the family ranch full time. In recent years, Kristi has continued to pursue her degree in Political Science by taking classes at SDSU.

3. She has a need for speed.
Noem received 27 traffic citations (including 20 speeding tickets) over 21 years. All fines have been paid and apologies have been made. "Obviously, I'm not proud of my driving record but I been working hard to be a better example to young kids and young drivers out there," Noem said.

Ronald Reagan: Deficit Hawk!

By GOP standards I think Elizabeth Hasslebeck can easily win a seat as a Republican official. They seem to like [mildly] attractive women with absolutely no substantial talking points whatsoever.

Did anyone else, besides AstronautJones, notice the sexual puns in what she was saying? "We don't take many poles or hold many caucuses." I wonder if she was aware of it at the time. Pretty funny stuff.

She is kinda cute, but her hair is stupid.

I don't see hwere she is "hot" but i already don't like her due to her obvious right lean. She looks like she enjoys a lot of tea parties. You can have her HuffPo. ugh

She's taking advantage of a warped political climate that celebrates women who are "cute" and ultra-conservative. It's in vogue to promote people like her.

Now why are we doing this? It would be more relevant and certainly more useful (maybe not as much fun for you) if we rated them according to how much work they do. We have enough of this nonsense on television and with the movie starts, etc. Don't push these people into striving for the wrong things. It's bad enough as it is. Perhaps if they had to be rated for how cogently they presented arguments or how many bills they worked on or presented as new legislation, etc., we might see more progress.

She didn't learn anything from the first ticket? And nothing from the remaining 26? Learning disabled?

Stephanie Herseth was the Democratic contender, but she is much more qualified and was a good leader. She's pretty too. Unfortunately, all the conservatives freaked out over the economy and thought the Republican was the way to go. Now...we have the lowest payed teachers in the country AND they just cut more in education. Don't move here, trust me.

Weird, I don't get all the Gillebrand love at all. There's nothing at all special about how she looks.

Noem has very pretty, arresting eyes.
