Since the health care law passed, questions have swirled about it. Most importantly, Americans are concerned about how it will affect them. Will they get to see their own doctors? Will they be able to afford health care? Or, as critics fear, will it do more harm than good? How does it affect me?

MY CHAIR AND POSTED NO SIGNS TO WARN ME SO I TRIED TO SIT and when I did I slipped out the chair unto the floor and caused 3 discs to press on my nerves 24/7. Wcomp and the ones that is like myself are treated like Welfare cases... I worked for the VA which I thought by working for the Federal Government was the BEST thing going.Where is my INSURANCE AND BENEFITS? The healthcare reform is a Joke for us the Ones that are suffering. I was told my case had been CLOSED AND DENIED although I am forced to live in a HUT LIKE APT..and beg ALL MY NEVADAN REPS TO HELP ME RECEIVE ALL MY BENEFITS ..No help.If I could afford my 9 medications such as 2 Morphine and others that are required If I want to Walk or Stand.SO WHERE IS THAT HEALTH CARE REFORM PAPER FOR MYSELF AND OTHERS?TALK IS CHEAP and I am glad HP allows our voices to be HEARD.VA say I Cant get retirement because CLAUDIA IN HUMAN RESOURCES forot to mail my application so my app sit in her desk for how long? FRAUD,DENIED,CASE CLOSED, CEASED. UNACCEPTED CONDITIONS. all this is FRAUD AND NO ONE cares. My 7 conditions were accepted my WComp for 1 day then UNACCEPTED MY CONDITION WILL NEVER CHANGE WHY DID THEIRS FOR ME? Where is The Health Care Where?Health Care For ..WHO? THE RICH?

These comments are from people such as myself a denied benefit. The Hiring of Investigators to see if I commit Fraud about mt lumbar pain that has taken my many abilities to move and function as a normal person would.Yes LET'S PUT HEALTH CARE ON BLASTand the reason is because myself and many others are left out and being denied our insurance benefits while Pres. OBama is giving Health care to others while myself and others that has been injured on the job.How can this be?I have seem 21 doctors who were paid by workers compensation to give a Fraudulent report . Owcp paid $6,000.00 to these doctors because I have the proof.The Last doctor of WComp said my pain has CEASED.Since 02-10-2005 when I fell at the VA and no insurance was authorized my doctor of almost 6 years continue his sending the visits reports of my pain. He never stopped until the authorized him to give injections to my Lumbar region. So someone needs to inform workers comp to wake up and stop falsifying reports on claimants. The truth will seek out it always does. The investigators used by Wcomp is considered to be a stalker. Why are all claimants being denied? cases being closed or frozen why?Star2000 I feel sorry for you also but I know you don't want pity you want justice. Besides not freezing people's PAID BENEFITS, calling them ENTITLEMEN­TS, how about the fraud, abuse, unethical behavior, & kickbacks in Mediacal & Dental Universiti­es? UMDNJ DEFRAUDED Medicare & Medicaid. NY Times, David Kocieniews­ki 11/24/2006­.

Universiti­es need to be monitored. SUNY destroys teeth, mutlates mouths, ruins lives like they're experiment­al rats. When you're no longer of any use to students,y­ou're thrown out with no recourse. SUNY has been inept & abusive to me. SUNY should be accountabl­e for what they destroyed and have to "fix" the damage, but they refuse. I'd Been a great patient for 25yrs.,lov­ed them. In 1994 they lost my files and never heard of me. I needed a bonding & cleaning. Now I need bone grafts & a full set of teeth.

Medicare & Medicaid paid for that. I've been trying to get them investigat­e this scandal since 1994. Instead my mouth just got worst, I've had 26 shots & 28 shots another time even though I'd been traumatize­d by shots as a child.

I was arched up screaming, tears pouring.wh­ile they said "Shut up or we'll stop working on you. You're getting this for free!" They tore out permanent bridges & left me with holes. I had to stop work, eating healthy, socializin­g, go to therapy, even the ER after my appointmen­t.

My hair turned white, stood up straight, & started falling out for 10 years. I just got it back after they threw me out. My life is ruined,thi­s has happened to many other patients.

Will women's pre-natal care be included on all plans, or will women still be charged 2x's what men pay because they have a womb? It seems to me if our economy needs workers 20 years hence, it should help women pay for those future workers healthcare. In addition, Norway gives women 83 weeks of paid maternity leave at 80% of salary... to our piddly US 6 weeks. When will we see our nation move forward to actually value the job of parenting, instead of giving it lip service? It get so tired of hearing "family values" when the reality is that women who stay home to raise children are penalized; their labor is not counted in labor statistics, as if they are irrelevant.

The ACA does not go into effect until 1/1/2014.
The waivers are for 1 year at a time and intended to not disrupt plans that do not meet ACA standards. They apply to mini med plans for some large groups and insurers as well a a lot of small companies.
In 2014 all plans will need to be up to the standards and the subsidies for everyone will be in place then.
The waivers are granted to all who have applied thus far.

You will see there is no conspiracy here, just a simple accomodation to not disrupt plans while the exchanges are set up between now and 2014.
