So a metallic note with a sweet and tangy core?

Even though we are all chuckling at her suggestions is not necessarily off base. If you take a real perfumery course you will be shocked to find out what the essence of individual ingredients smell like. A friend of mine just finished one - and discovered that we humans like the smell of poo, Not in a pure form, but as a carrier of the base sent. So there is an ingredient that smells like a barnyard. And that was not the only icky thing he learned.

Anyway, she was probably presented with some pure scents while in discussions for the design of her fragrance, and when she heard they basically smelled like blood and semen she thought it would be shocking to reveal that two of her chosen ingredients smell like that.

I thought that the purpose of perfume was to disguise the smell of bodily fluids.
