Conan: Michele Bachmann Looks 'Ridiculous' (VIDEO)

Something was strange about Michele Bachmann's Tea Party response to Obama's State of the Union address, and it wasn't just that someone asked Michele Bachmann to give the official response to anything. In this clip from last night's show, Conan drives the point home that something that seems like a simple camera gaffe actually points out a deeper problem with the trustworthiness of our elected officials.

You are 100% correct. It would be criminal to vote for anyone who cannot look into the camera while speaking, who doesn't known how many states there are in the Union or perform simple math[1]!

What is amazing is that the Dear Leader does not know there are 50 states, very strange for someone born in the 50th state to be added to the Union. In the video, the Dear Leader said he had one more state to visit, not including Alaska or Hawai’i, which if the Dear Leader was able to perform simple math, is 47.

The Dear Leader cannot speak coherently when he does not have a teleprompt­er[2].

Oh for a Palin/Bachmann 2012 ticket. or a Bachmann/Palin ticket. it doesn't really matter. The Tea Party who created them force them to share a brain that they procured on the cheap.

It came in a package labeled: "A.B. Normal" but for what limited use its put to... it seems to do the job. Just don't ask either one to chew gum and walk at the same time.

It's funny how something so simple can totally derail a message. Let's say, an extreme hypothetical, that Bachmann actually said something worthwhile, or, better yet, something truthful and profound that could change our country for the better. It wouldn't have mattered because the video looks ridiculous.

It kind of reminds me of Bobby Jindal's SOTU response a year ago. I don't remember what he said, but I remember the visuals were bad, with him coming towards the camera in that awkward way.
