Mitch Daniels, Indiana Governor, Skipped State Of The Union To Watch Purdue-Ohio State (VIDEO)
Mitch Daniels, Governor of Indiana, apparently had something better to do on Tuesday night instead of watching President Barack Obama's State of the Union address.
On Wednesday, Daniels admitted to a television reporter that instead of watching the State of the Union, he tuned in to the Purdue-Ohio State basketball game, which started at the same time as the speech.
"You caught me. I didn't watch it. I was watching the Purdue game as long as it was watchable," Daniels said, when asked what he thought of the State of the Union. "Honestly, I've read the accounts. I've got the text of the speech and I'll be reading it between now and the next stop. I think I'll just say that I'm very hopeful that we are going to see changes in national policy."
The Purdue men's basketball team was on the road on Tuesday and got crushed by the Buckeyes 87-64. Scroll down to watch the video.
