Sofia Coppola's Classic Style (PHOTOS, POLL)

If there's one person in Hollywood who has done it all, it's Sofia Coppola. Born into a fame-filled family (mother Eleanor Coppola, father Francis Ford Coppola, and cousins Nicolas Cage and Jason Schwartzman), Sofia Coppola seemed to be destined for greatness at a young age.

She interned with Chanel at the age of fifteen and launched Milkfed, her fashion line only available in Japan, after graduating from college. And she's dabbled in acting, appearing in seven of her father's films, but is currently pouring her energies into directing films, her most recent being "Somewhere" -- resulting in tons of premieres decked out in Louis Vuitton.

Overall, Sofia favors classically feminine pieces in simple colors, but sometimes she'll mix in a little plaid or some feathers. Check out Sofia's style evolution and let us know which looks you love and which should be left in the past.

SC has the most style of anyone out there. It's tiring watching all the stars with their stylists trying to give them something that's 2nd nature to SC. I wish more people appreciated the more minimal, natural, feminine style she exudes. Sexy is so passe. Sexy lasts until age 35, then that sexy turns into a has-been.

I am one of Sophia's biggest fans of her work in The Godfather III. I think she was eminently credible as the young daughter of the Don. I actually preferred her rounder look in that movie than the ultra thin and white look of today. Her hair only accentuates the thinness and long shape of her face. Some layers and feathering around her face would soften her look and add to her allure. I have no comments about her style or fashion choices. Whatever she wants to wear, she should wear.

I would like to see her act more but I can see why she wouldn't want to. Everyone was so mean and nasty about her. Why? Why so mean for no reason? Is that who we are as a country now?
