Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak acknowledged his citizens' discontent and attempted to defuse the crisis in Egypt Friday night by announcing that a new government is on the way. But the embattled president gave no indication that he himself planned to step down.

Specifically, Mubarak said that the current government will be forced to resign and he would appoint a new one on Saturday. He gave no indications he himself planned to step down, despite increasing calls for him to do so.

The 82-year-old autocrat, who assumed power in Egypt 30 years ago, made the announcement following a day of widespread protests, violence and demonstrations.

Hillary silence is a sign of weakness, a sign that she is truly not in touch with anything but herself.

But Mubarak won the last election with 88% of the vote. The people love him!

What's worse is the track record in that part of the world. Egypt it plagued by overpopulation, rampant poverty, pollution, and a pent up popular hatred of their government's relationship with Israel. Add in an underground culture of Islamic radicalism and the prognosis is not so optimistic.

I hope I'm wrong.

Yes you are wrong on one, radical Islamism. when poverty is rampant and education is none among the population, religion takes a hold of the masses. This very well described in history of many civilization.

It wasn't supposed to be like this was it Hillary. You thought you would fly around the world like those before you publicly chiding dictators and privately handing out money to suppress the people of foreign lands for the benefit of Israel. Well the chickens are coming home to roost.

Let Egypt be our warning!!!

It's chilling to remember that Obama and Hillary were advocating last year that the USA government install an “On/Off” switch for the Internet in case it was “necessary” to pull OUR plug. Note that also coincided with their attacks on our 1st amendment rights over right-wing talk radio.

Can you imagine how much damage that would do to OUR economy if the US government ever got their hands on our Internet, never mind how dangerous it would be to our freedoms? If they didn’t expect to use it someday, they would not have even proposed it.

Good try charlie, to confuse the two! "Hate Radio's" use of public airways to lie and incite, has nothing to do with your 1st amendment rights.
