Anne Hathaway's Crazy Pants: Rad Or Bad? (PHOTOS, POLL)

With all of the red carpets being walked this weekend -- from the SAGs to the Directors Guild of America Awards to Entertainment Weekly's fete -- perhaps Anne Hathaway thought she could pull a style fast one on us. Witness the actress' ensemble at the Sneak "Beak" Screening of 20th Century Fox's "Rio" on Friday.

The usually-impeccably-dressed Anne stepped out in a cropped sweater, big necklace, chunky sandals...and then there's the pants: ruffled, loose, kind-of-harem-ish, above-the-ankle, possibly high-waisted? So many words and so little...prettiness.

Those really are insane pants, but they could have worked with competely different shoe, shirt, and jewelry choices. So adorable and gorgeous though she is, she really looks like she just emerged from a huge Nordstrom Rack sale.

Hathaway is at the screening of 'Rio', which looks like an animation film.
The outfit seems very appropriate for a non-serious event; the proportions of the outfit are good.

I dont hate it, but it would be better if it was a long skirt or something. In the first picture it sort of looks like one.
