Julianna Margulies is 'The Good Wife' -- but she has one requirement.
The Emmy-winning actress -- who added a Screen Actors' Guild Award to her trophy case on Sunday -- appears on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show' on Tuesday, and opens up in part about the day she met her husband, lawyer Keith Lieberthal, at a mutual friends' dinner party. Turns out she had just a few questions for him.
"Well, when he came over to me, I said, 'Look, I just think you are so handsome. Are you a model or an actor and are you 12 [years old]?'"
Why the questioning?
"I love actors. I love working with them. I don't want to live with them. I've been there and done it. They're great. I said, 'Are you an actor? Because as much as I love you all, I can't. I'm done.' And he's like, No, I'm a lawyer,'" she continued. "And I'm like, 'What's your name?' 'And he said, 'Keith Lieberthal I was like, "'You're JEWISH?!'"
Obviously, between those two things, he certainly passed the test. Perhaps he helps her study up for her hit show, in which she's a practicing lawyer.
Tune into 'The Ellen Degeneres Show' on Tuesday for much more.
