Rupert Murdoch: I'm Not Hiring Olbermann Again

Rupert Murdoch talked to Fox Business Network's Neil Cavuto on Wednesday after the launch of his new iPad newspaper, The Daily. One of the subjects: would Murdoch consider hiring the newly-available Keith Olbermann?

Murdoch was short and to the point. "No," he said. "We fired him once, we don't believe in firing people twice." He also stood by his contention that Olbermann had been a "nut" when he worked, briefly, at Fox Sports in the late 1990s.

The conversation also touched on the Comcast-NBC merger, President Obama (Murdoch was skeptical that he has really "moved to the middle"), and his newest publication. Murdoch said that the iPad would lead to "the end of the laptop."
