This is not an improvement in their calorie counting "system" at all. In fact I think it's a really bad move aimed at sparking new sales in a sluggish economy. To say fruit is free calories and give it ZERO points is crazy. This is an interesting point of view:

I was thinking the same thing. I have been on Weight Watchers since July. At that time, it was under the old point system. Since then, I lost 25 pounds and reached my goal weight. My wife is doing it as well and has had great success.

Then along comes the new point system and with it, confusion. How can fruit calories (like a banana) go from 2 points to 0 points? Does that mean I can pig out on fruit and veggies and still have all points left over for that 3 cheese pizza? No, according to Weight Watchers.

So, I sill sit here confused and dejected as one spoonful after the next of Nutella enters my mouth.
