January 2011 Fail Video Compilation: The Month In Epic Fails

2011 is off to a rip-roaring start judging by the epic fails of this past January.

YouTube user Twisternederland delivers the month's pain and humiliation with another one of his patented video compilations of people trying and, well, not succeeding.

A new trend seems to be lighting a small firework, walking a short distance away, and then shrieking as an unusually large explosion sends everyone scattering. We do not recommend this.

Stick to the bike tricks, kids.

I'm not even sure what was SUPPOSED to happen in many of these. "Let's see, I'll ski off the edge of a parking lot..." ?!? Also, why can't the soccer player figure out he's got to turn around to lift the stretcher?

The majority of them are attempting to do something so obviously stupid that it's impossible to figure out exactly what they were trying to accomplish to begin with - and they're recording it to boot.

I used to wonder why we have not been visited by intelligent life from planets hundreds,if not thousands, of centuries ahead of us in science and technology.

After seeing this video, which is coursing it's way through space at the speed of light, I no longer wonder. If I was an Alien being, I think I'd stay away too. We should stop posting these Darwin candidate videos, or we'll never be rescued from our own destruction.
