Protester Shot And Killed In Alexandria, Egypt (GRAPHIC VIDEO)

Graphic footage has surfaced of what appears to be a protester shot in the streets of Alexandria, Egypt by secret police. The birds-eye view video shows seemingly peaceful activity until about 1:30, when what looks to be a tire on fire falls to the ground. A few moments later, an individual approaches what looks to be police forces and opens his jacket, facing them. The forces then shoot the protester, who collapses instantly. An English-language description of the video on YouTube says, "Most likely killed on Friday the 28th of January in the Manshya District in Alexandria. Video by Moustafa Mahmoud."

He reminds me of the man who stood in front of the tanks at Tienanmen Square. Both pleading to their fellow countrymen for peace and freedom. Seemingly unarmed. Their courage is a profound expression of the need to live freely. We are fortunate to have video documentation of their bravery.

This man is one of three hundred killed. The people of Egypt-old and young, Muslem and Christian. male and female have, since Jan 25, shown an incredible resolve in the face of this kind of brutality. There are no longer any reasons good enough for the US and all free nations not to support them.

Its disgraceful to think that this unarmed protester was considered a threat to armed security forces. The man had his coat open to show that he was unarmed. There is no way that he was threat to the lives of the militia men whose freedom that he was possibly supporting as well.

Utter disrespect for innocent life. Not a good pic, but he was not wrapped in explosives. With the video available, there is a very great chance they can locate the law enforcement/murders. Time to call that Google exec they just let out of the Hoosh Kow...
