Super Bowl 2011 Half Time Show: Who Is Playing? Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Slash

The Black Eyed Peas are set to 'get it started' in Dallas -- well, get the second half started, at least.

After a few years of classic rock acts, including Bruce Springsteen and Aerosmith, the mega pop act will star in the 2011 Super Bowl half time show. And they're promising big things.

We're known for doing outlandish things and we're going to make this a big spectacle," Will.i.am said of their big plans. They'll be playing a medley of their most famous songs.

"This isn't about winning people over," the singer continued. But even if people don't like us, I want them to say 'That s**t was crazy! Them muthaf**kas was nuts! That was the best 13-minutes I've seen! And that guy Will.i.am is awesome as s**t. Damn!'"

Joining them on stage are scheduled "surprise" guests Usher and Slash.

I think all you haters should get a life. How much money did u pay the BEP, for
their performance? Oh, and you haters could do so much better...Right? Sure.. I think gave a great performance. However, if i were not happy, i know that i would not be on websites running their band down. No wonder celebritiies are in and out of rehab. A bunch of jealous people attacking their talents. What is the Point? Be Nice!

I think in most cases criticism can be unfair, but in this case, yes, I could have done that and probably done it better. It was lip synched and nothing really worked. The Black Eyed Peas aren't talented at all and they steal music. If I wanted to hear a robot sing I'd buy AutoTune software and do it myself.

It was so mediocre.

Of course I have heard of the Black Eyed Peas and Will.I.am but I didn't actually recognize them and although i thought Fergie quite pretty I was not impressed with her singing NOR her dancing. It was pretty boring.

Great show Usher! Fergie could've done better but Usher definitely saved the day. I thought the show was awesome, I definitely stayed entertained the entire time. I work and subscribe to DISH Network and this year I am using the Logitech Revue and I can tweet and watch the game at the same time. I love it. Since I am a DISH subscriber, I got the Revue at a $120 ($179 with DISH) discount instead of the original MSRP price of $299. I love it and I hope that the Packers bring the ring home tonight. They definitely deserve it! Next year, that will be the Saints. BLACK AND GOLD SUPERBOWL!
