Bristol Palin Memoir Set To Hit Shelves This Summer

First Posted: 02/07/11 04:35 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:30 PM ET

UPDATE:

Political Wire points out that Amazon has taken down the link to Bristol Palin's memoir.

EARLIER:

Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, will soon be able to add "author" to her resume with the release of an as-yet-untitled memoir set to hit bookshelves this summer.

As noted by Political Wire, an Amazon listing for an "Untitled Bristol Palin Memoir" -- in hardcover no less -- has been created, announcing that the 304-page book will be available for a little over $17.

PopEater reported late last year that the 20-year-old mother was exploring a variety of options to cash in on the visibility provided by her successful, but not victorious, run on ABC's hit show, "Dancing With the Stars." Apart from the book deal and speaking engagements -- which no longer include a panel at Washington University's "Sex Week" -- a source also told PopEater that future jobs might include a role on another reality-TV show and as a spokeswoman for a fashion line.

According to the Amazon page, the book will be published by William Morrow & Co for release on June 21.

It goes completely against my beliefs, but these Palins make me want to become a book burner.

So if one of the Palins made this remark concerning someones book they didn't like can you imagine all the hate comments coming at them for saying something like this? I won't buy her book but I won't burn one either... Think about it.

The Palin secret to success:

Pretend you've already achieved it, then offer to sell "The Secret" to others.

Bristol's memoir could actually make some money - if it replaces the gag gift Chia pet planters.

I got Dan Quayle's "Standing Firm" for 25 cents and it was the hit of the white elephant Christmas party- flung around like a hot potatoe. But don't expect to get that kind of value out of a 5 cent Bristol book- not even relevant enough for a joke.

Now that Bristol is famous for being, um, famous, it looks like she has had some plastic surgery:

Yep, she's now a celebrity!

The Palin "brand" is going to be a hard sell with such low approval ratings. I just canceled my Amazon account. $arah and Briskets "base" are amongst the poorer consumers in our country. Boycott any.. and EVERY company that has anything to do with these charlatans. Got a kindle as a gift..... it's headed to ebay tomorrow.
