'Transformers 3' Trailer: 'Dark Of The Moon' Preview In Super Bowl Ad

Michael Bay sure knows how to blow things up.

The newest trailer for 'Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon' was unveiled in a Super Bowl ad on Sunday, and offered plenty of bang per minute -- much more than the actual game on the field. Shia LeBeouf is back, this time using his transforming robot friends to help in a plot spurred by a space race between the United States and the Russians, perhaps a throwback to the era of the original TV series.

LeBeouf, who was openly critical of the second film -- 'Revenge of the Fallen' was a commercial, but not critical success -- said in July that "There's going to be a lot of death, human death. This time, they're targeting humans. It's going to be the craziest action movie ever made, or we failed."

There's definitely one major change: LeBeouf will be joined by a new female co-star, Rosie Huntington Whitely. She takes the place of Megan Fox, who was either fired or decided herself not to do the third film, depending on whom you believe.

The Most Epic Trailer ever?

With today's special effects and money to be thrown around? I'm not too impressed.

Call me old school or a sucka for nostalgia; but, I still would pick the trailer for 1956's
"The Ten Commandments" as a great epic trailer (especially for its time)..!

I believe Meagan Fox. How long can you wear shirts strategically designed to expose your breasts and say "run!" and "I'm not leaving you." and take your self seriously as an actor? I'm not going to see #3. I still want my money back from #2.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She plays Carly. Who is actually a character from the original Transformers cartoon that actually marries the lead human Spike(who Sam, Shia's character is based on and pretty much is). She's the mother of the Spike's son Daniel (lead human) in the original animated Transformers film.

The White House exploding from Independence Day was better, no one (at that time) expected that. It was ground breaking. 2012 did a similar thing.

I still remember when that came out...it was a huge (pre-internet) buzz and considered ground breaking in that it was the first time a movie trailer was aired that far ahead of the release date.
