WikiLeaks Movie? 'Revolution Truth' Trailer Hits Wikileaks' Facebook Page (VIDEO)

Wikileaks posted this video on their Facebook page.

The documentary, which is being called Revolution Truth, claims to feature the "images and voices" of both Julian Assange and Michael Moore. The film aims not only to promote Wikileaks, but "interupt the US government's attempts to villainize and prosecute Julian Assange and bring down Wikileaks," according to the film's website.

Though it's unclear if film is directly associated with Wikileaks, Assange does appear in the trailer.

UPDATE: The film's creator, Tangerine Bolen, says that the future of the project is yet to be determined. "It is a short film (yes, MM will be in it), a project, and a global campaign in support of Wikileaks, Assange, and democratic freedoms," says Bolen. The creator/producer also stated that neither Moore or Wikileaks is involved in the production, despite its appearance on the Wikileaks Facebook page.

Hi all, thank you for all your thoughtful comments and wonderings. To clarify a few things - MM will be in the film. I started this after the US gov's handling of WL and JA. Somehow, after 10 years, THIS broke the camel's back for me. I'd had enough. We are doing this out of pocket. We are not film people. This got traction and now really neat people are surrounding me to help make this happen.

This is a "people-powered" project. It's centerpiece is the brave people everywhere willing to stand up to the US gov as it travels farther down the wrong path. It will touch on many related themes. The goal is to shake up a few things - maybe even right a few things. (We hope!). Everyone working on this is volunteering. We are learning as we go. Like you, we really want to change our world.

Let us know if you would like to help. You can still submit video messages we may use. You can volunteer to be field producers in your communities for this short film and upcoming activities. You can sign our Open letter to the US gov, or even translate it for us!

We hope to remind the world how desperately people need access to accurate information. That, really, what we need is a "truth revolution".

Please spare the theatrics for Assange..... He's just a scumbage computer hacker who has a history of criminal activity and poor behavior. He's obviously got serious psychological problems that include a large dose of over inflated self-importance and a desparate need for attention. The truth is he paid some mentally imbalanced young american service man for some secrets that are of little interest or importance (if any of you have bothered to read them). Aren't Julian's 15 minutes up yet?

I love the part when the American politicians were calling Wikileaks a high tech terrorist outlet. Don't worry politicians, most of us are a bunch of sheep and will not do anything to stop you. No need to try and brainwash us, we already are.

I was a supporter of Joe Biden, worked for his presidential campaign, and voted for Obama because he was on the ticket.
When I heard him call Assange a terrorist, I no longer admire him a bit.

Those who are against Wikileaks are against freedom of the press. All these frauds like Mitch McConnell, Newt Gingrich, etc, that purport to support and defend our constitution are just that, a bunch of FRAUDS!

All of MM's documentaries are excellent. I remember his first--Roger and Me (story about Roger B. Smith of GM)---that's where he got started. It was 1989.

I just hope this isn't another attempt at profit making. I hope they have the documentary about exposing the truth out there free to download for everyone. Otherwise, it kills the point.

I can honestly say that this has nothing to do with profit, it is about getting the people's voices heard. I am the field producer coordinator for the project. We are simply trying to provide people a platform to have their voices heard.

They will no doubt attempt to regain production costs unless they have a 'donar'. These end up on Netflix live streaming fairly quickly though - but I don't mind paying for a movie ticket to see them.

Julian Assange "appearing in it" is actually a clip from WikiLeaks Roundtable the url can be found here http://www.wikileaksroundtable.org/ that was originally aired on ustream. That was Julian's prerecorded piece. Then clips from egypt, along with a clip from Micheal Moore's Julian Assange video project.

Get your facts straight.

There was a full version of the clips in this trailer that he released two days ago about 9 minutes long), and I saw it. He spoke alone explaining what was going on. It has been removed by youtube now.
This trailer came out last night. It's a movement peice to let people be aware of what is going on.
I got my facts straigt, and saw the original peice before our Gov banned it.

Wow, Michelle Moore gets involved! It's going to be very interesting to watch this whole thing play out. Personally, I support the guy and everything he's doing. I'd love love to see him win the Nobel Peace Prize.

No matter how many people he gets killed? I am sorry, but Julian says himself he writes nothing. He has told many of his former colleagues that his specific agenda is to attack the US. why not france, UK, russia, china... just lip service. I agree with julian's former colleagues that julian has gone of on a Julian agenda. he edits, scripts, biases the releases. its not open for all. Just today he admits that the whole (5 GIGABYTE - ""trove") of bank information is a yawn. Julian has collected quite a trove of adoring true believer fools, who are willing to part with their money. See this job being better accomplished with the laws and safeguards of democratic organizations. Julian adds no value, only takes cash for his own benefit. Where is the transparency, open-ness and accounting for the millions he has raked in? lip service aout lawyer fees and the like. sheesh, totally un-necessary. Plenty of media outlets. Julian is at best redundant, at worst, as charged, a theirf and a rapist. let's let the system work.
