"We don't believe you!" Alright, alright.

Now its time to get kicked off a plane for totally different reasons.

It's also worth noting.. while he pretends that he was all offended by the Southwest incident, as the old saying goes there's no such thing as bad press. That was probably the most publicity he's gotten in years, people were talking about him again for the first time since the 90's so he was loving every minute of it.

I can sympathize with how he feels because I've been there. Baggy clothes feel like protection. It can be infuriating when acquaintances treat you different and better than they did before you lost weight. For me, when that happens, it doesn't feel like a compliment. It just makes me really angry. I'm the exact same person I was when I weighed fifty-five pounds more than I do now. Oh, and I really don't want to hear congratulations about how now I'm so much "healthier." My health is none of your business. I'm not asking about your health. I can't tell just by looking at you if you have a jacked up thyroid or cancer or high blood pressure or a sexually transmitted disease, so how can you tell I'm healthier just by looking at me? If you didn't care about it enough to be nice to me and treat me like a human being when I was heavier, I don't really care to hear what you think about it now that I'm not.

I agree with you.

Texas Toast: Exactly. In the past year, I have relapsed into an eating disorder and have literally starved 60 pounds off of my body. I am working on stopping it, and I'm doing my best to not lose anymore. However, I can't tell you how many complements I have gotten from people that have known me for years and have all known me at heavier weights. They all want me to tell them how I lost the weight, if I plan on losing more, how I'm keeping it off, what diet I'm doing, etc. And all I can think of is what a fraud I am because I didn't lose the weight 'the right way'. I'm sick, and the sickness resulted in the coveted weight loss.

It's twisted, and it's hard to hear people who are supposed to care about you give you MORE attention now that you are a 'slimmer, healthier you'. It's crazy.

I hope Behar's guess is not correct.

He's a wonderful man, his stand up gigs have more humility, humor and humanity than almost anyone on the speaker circuit. His films have been hit and miss like most artists but the man is charisma incarnate.

I think he looked bigger than he actually ever was because, as he mentions in this video, he always wears baggy clothes. I've lost about the same amount of weight he has, so I was in baggly clothes for a while. And let me tell, clothing that fits well makes a huge difference.

Loose the weight and you will live longer -- that's the bottom line.

If that does not make you eat healthier than I don't know what will.

Reduce the salt, sugar and fat in the diet.

Exercise a little -- even if it is only a walk with the dog.

Take personal responsibility for your health. Know your blood pressure,
cholesterol numbers and BMI.

We are the creators of our destiny.

Great news. The airline stories came off making him sound like he felt he was a victim.

Well that was an informative blurb HP, I guess I'll never know details since I'm not going to Popeater. Besides that, we just happened to watch his show Too Fat For 40 last night, and that's great for him and his health if he has lost a significant amt.
