First Openly Drunk Senator Elected, ONN On IFC Sneak Peak (VIDEO)

First Posted: 02/10/11 12:23 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:30 PM ET

Another wall has come down in Washington, D.C. with the election of the nation's first openly drunk senator.

Senator Dave Tillis' victory was credited to winning over voters by "loudly rambling on about issues they care about." The freshman senator has already introduced his first piece of legislation, "The All Bus Stops Should Have Shelters Bill."

Every day thousands of Americans take the bus and sometimes they can't make it their home because their eyes are closing, right? Right. But does that mean you deserve to wake up in the snow? Hell, no.

It's truly sad, but as I watched this, I wasn't sure if it was a joke, or actually a real politician---considering what we see in politics now days.

It seems like the ONN is all about taking a funny premise and then just stretching it way beyond its expiration date.

This was funny for about the first 10sec. After that, not so much.

Personally I think during ever presidential debate, every time each candidate answers a question they have to take a shot. By the end, everyone will know which candidate stand for what and what he or she really believes.
