David Paterson, Former New York Gov., To Teach At NYU

David Paterson Nyu

Like many ex-office holders, former New York Gov. David Paterson is heading into the private sector. The private college sector, that is -- Paterson will soon be teaching at New York University.

An NYU spokesman told the Associated Press that Paterson, who finished his term Dec. 31, will guest lecture this semester and teach next year.

In an interview with WOR, Paterson said that "things are working out well."

"I wake up in the morning and I don't have to to wonder what went wrong that is going to get blamed on me," he said.

Would you take a class with Paterson?

Nonsense.  It would be awesome to take a class from any former governor.

"I wake up in the morning and I don't have to to wonder what went wrong that is going to get blamed on me," he said.

Ex-gov. Paerson dtill can't take responsibility for his bad judgement.

No, I would not take a class with him, it would be a waste of time, money & redundant to learn how to mess up a state.

Good for him. But how come these guys always end up going to private schools that already have an embarrassment of riches.

Word on the street is that he is teaching a course on baseball scorekeeping into the 21st century that requires he and his kids witness every single game.

Might be an interesting class. There are other former politicians and policy makers who have taught their in recent years. As an alum, that's a good thing.
