Being a hoosier, I love John Cougar. I'm upset that he's still smoking. Nicotine should be outlawed. Always loved Meg too, but these photos lately, make me question my fondness for her. But I could be way off.
This reminds me of Rosie O'Donnell's breakup with her wife. She didn't share that news for 2 yrs! We have no idea what goes on in celebrities lives despite these photos. I don't think I could ever be a celebrity. You lose your privacy and I couldn't deal with that.

I like the two of them, but I hate photos like that. I'd see if it was taken at some red carpet event, but there has to be many of us who think that famous people should have a right to walk down the street without being photographed. Why do the paps think we would care about something so mundane?

I love how Meg is looking slightly annoyed that her photo is being taken. She's lucky anyone is still interested. John's sweatpants are a bit George Costanza-esque, not that there's anything wrong with that.

if a marriage breaks up, I'm assuming that relationship deteriorated a long time ago. So maybe he was ready to move on. Just surmising.

I know... you're probably right.  But I divorced many years ago and even though it was an EXXTREMELY amiable divorce, I simply was not ready to enter into a new relationship for quite a while.  It took some getting used to being alone... establishing a new routine with our son... spending time making sure HE was adjusting... finding out who I was after 18 years of marriage... and that's just the tip of the iceberg.   I can't imagine the mental state of someone who is experiencing a bad breakup.  You know?
