Macon Cowles, Boulder City Councilman, Sells Home For $1.57 Million

Boulder City Councilman Macon Cowles has sold his home in north Boulder for $1.57 million, more than twice what he asked the county assessor to value his home at in 2009.

The public official faced criticism last year after it was revealed that in May 2009 he asked the assessor's office to reduce the taxable value of his home to $700,000.
