Kiernan Shipka, Age 11: 'I Follow Fashion Trends' (PHOTOS, POLL)

First Posted: 02/15/2011 11:50 am   Updated: 05/26/2011 12:28 pm

As if 11-year-old Kiernan Shipka hasn't already won over our hearts with her role as Sally Draper on "Mad Men," New York Magazine's new interview with the pint-size actress has us in the bag.

Shipka tells Vanessa Grigoriadis, "I follow fashion trends. My closet's full of Papo d'Anjo. They're my main brand. I just absolutely love them because the quality is so amazing. Chloé has some amazing kids' pieces, too, and I have a lot of D&G Junior. Grace Kelly is my fashion inspiration -- a classic look, with beautiful pieces, and very pretty."

And then there's this:

"I have the best idea: fashion Halloween!" she squeaks later, the words coming out in a torrent. "I'm always something like Catwoman, Cinderella, or Rapunzel, with really, really long hair, and we always decorate our house like crazy--we even have a fog machine. But this year, I want to have a fashion Halloween! We'll have people dress up as Donna Karnage." Giggle. "Michael Korpse." Giggle. "Burbloody."

Clever Donna Karan and Michael Kors puns? We can't take it. Check out some of Kiernan's best looks below and click through for more tween style.

Can we all just give the overused superlative "amazing" a rest for 2011?

She is a very pretty and talented young lady. Having said that:

between this and Justin Bieber giving advice on abortion....what happened to having somewhat of a childhood?

Billy Ray Cyrus is blaming Satan for the destruction of his family and Miley's problems. Yes, you read that correctly; Satan.

If you believe in the Bible - it states that the children will lead.

she needs to be outside playing in the mud, not giving interviews and walking the red carpet. so tired of seeing child stars made up to look like adults. we wonder why so many end up with addiction problems.

She is only 11 eleven years old, very pretty and already a great actress. She reminds me of Natalie Portman when she was that age and look now !!

What an amazing young woman. I'd say 'child' but she's not exactly that, either. Her Sally Draper - as has been said in HuffPo and other places - is perhaps the most important character not named Don Draper on Mad Men. Her acting - that role - is spellbinding, and I always look forward to her storylines.

The good part here is that her face is sunny and full of fun. She's enjoying herself without taking it all too seriously. Good for her!

I like her in Mad Men, and she looks smart in the photos. I just hope she doesn't turn into an over-sexualized teenager.
