Marc O'Leary, Sexual Assault Suspect, Held On $5 Million Cash Bond
A 32-year-old Lakewood man was arrested at his home on Sunday, and is being charged with multiple felonies in connection with two sexual assaults in Jefferson County.
The Jefferson County District Attorney says that Marc O'Leary is being charged with First Degree Sexual Assault, Second Degree Kidnapping, First Degree Burglary, and Felony Menacing in connection with an August, 2010 sexual assault in Westminster, as well as a January, 2011 incident in Golden.
In both incidents involved an intruder assaulting women inside of their homes.
Victims in both assaults said their assailant had an egg-sized birthmark on his lower leg, a description that ultimately led investigators to O'Leary.
Law enforcement agencies across the Denver Metro, as well as the FBI, contributed to the investigation.
O'Leary is being held on $5 million cash bond.
