Diane Kruger Reveals Most Regrettable Style Moment (PHOTO)

British magazine Stylist spoke with Diane Kruger -- who's as well known for her acting as she is for her closet. She dished on her friendship with Karl Lagerfeld, how she keeps up with trends and her goddaughter, who gets all of her hand-me-downs.

Here are some of our favorite Qs and As from the interview:

Do you use a stylist to get ready for the red carpet?
Not really, to be honest with you. I got rid of all of them. Only because I just don't think a lot of people have style in Hollywood, or at least not what I like. I think everybody looks the same. I come from fashion, and who knows better what I like than myself? I understand why some actors just don't care, or they are not sure. If those people want stylists, great, go for it.

How do you feel about the endless style critiquing of female actresses?
Oh, people criticise me all the time, and I don't give a damn about that. I think it's all ridiculous. I think the fashion police is the silliest thing ever invented, because it's so personal, right? Who's to say you can't wear something? It's silly. Everybody should wear what the hell they want. But I remember looking back at myself and thinking, "Well, maybe that wasn't the right occasion for that dress."

Like when?
I remember my very first Golden Globe Awards dress by Marchesa [in 2005]. They'd just started out and were really good friends of mine. I loved the dress they made but it was so wrong for that occasion. You could see my belly button and everybody else was in long, flowy gowns.

Ok, so this we had so see...and it is pretty bad (we say this as Diane Kruger style devotees).
