Elisabeth Hasselbeck Gushes Over Michelle Obama's Style: 'She Knocks It Out Of The Park'

Fashion Week seems to have softened Elisabeth Hasselbeck's opinion of Michelle Obama. At the Milly show on Tuesday, "The View" co-host, with daughter Grace on her lap, raved to HollywoodLife.com: "I love Michelle's style....I've seen her on a number of ocassions and she knocks it out of the park. I think she's such a fantastically strong fortunate woman and she dresses in a way I think many women like to dress. She's confident, she feels comfortable in her clothing, she's feminine, and beautiful. I think she really understands who she is."

That's quite a change in tone from 2008, when Hasselbeck took a jab Michelle Obama during a Cindy McCain event. She assessed the difference between the two candidates' wives based on their appearances on "The View": "Cindy came into our hair and makeup room, fresh as can be, and unlike another wife of a political candidate who shall remain nameless, she didn't come with a list of topics that we weren't allowed to touch. Nope, that's because she has nothing to hide."

This is a woman who appeared at Palin rallies, for heavens' sake. That tells me all I need to know. I'm sure Michele O is breathing a lot easier knowing that the very Christian E. H. is ''gushing'' over her style. Especially after saying that CMcC has ''nothing to hide'', implying that MO did. What an empty headed person.

Well Elizabeth, you better return your RNC Membership card. You are now persona non grata. You'll be carved up by Rush, Hannity, Ingraham, Levin, Graham. You best re-read the new GOP Procedures manual; Chapter 1, Section 3, Para 2.a(2): "No true American, USA Born, Republican will, in any context, in any form, any media, at any public or private forum, compliment or otherwise speak positively of "so called" President Obama, his administration, and his family." You're toast Elizabeth. But I think you're a class act complimenting the 1st Lady.

She has a fine arts degree from Boston College, worked as a shoe designer for Puma and has her own line of clothing that she designed and markets. Now, what are your qualifications that you wish to "put up against hers ?" She has been most complimentary of Mrs. Obama's fashion sense and choices as well as the healthy eating initiatives for children.

If you want to believe that I voted for Obama because he is black, you don't know much about the voting record of black people in this country. We usually vote for Democrats. Just compare Bill Clinton's votes to Bush Senior and you'll see. The fact that you are assuming I am only supporting Obama because he is black and that my views are not like his views shows that you are a bigot.
