Princess Letizia might have proved her ability to look good in every color, stepping out in the hottest of hot pinks on Thursday. She wore the sheath, paired with a gray belt and matching pumps to the inauguration of ARCO fair 2011 at Ifema in Madrid.

I agree with a previous poster that she looks great in that dress, with the exception if her shoes. If you at her "line", it is great up to her ankles. the shoes ate too clunky in the toe area, and ruins the beautiful line. They look like Minnie Mouse shoes. She has an entourage of people that style her. This kind of stuff us easily remedied.

Actually, unlike most royal women, Letizia has no stylist. She picks her own outfits. If she had someone to help her pick her clothes, I doubt she'd be repeating the same outfit 3 times in a month with the exact same accessories.

Although this look is not among my favorites, on her worst day she is head and shoulders above every other woman on the world stage. Carla Bruni and our own, lovely Michelle Obama, are wonderful as well, but, not in the same orbit as Letizia. Letizia is classic and elegant in the style of Jacqueline Kennedy; always chic and never looks like she's trying too hard. It is a pleasure to see her.

I'd suggest you visit royal forums/websites. They usually post every activity of various royal families and you'll be able to see a lot of pictures from the events.

She looks great in that red dress! I think she is getting thinner though. Job stress? I would think her royal job would be terribly boring from being a journalist. Not much of a challenge! Wonder if she misses her career though being a princess, a wife to this handsome guy and mother to her beautiful daughters.

Hi gypsy, check out google as Letizia has an impressive resume. She has two master's degrees and started working on her doctorate. She even worked for CNN in NY. Her past is a far cry from being a princess.

I agree that her job now as Princess may not be that challenging, but I'd think it's very stressful. Not as stressful as a 12 hour job in a hospital, for example, but she and Felipe have no routine when it comes to their duties. They attend a great deal of events and meet with different people from various fields. It must be somewhat difficult to go to these events where Letizia can't really contribute much, even with proper research, since they are not her expertise while Felipe has been attending these kinds of events for a while now.

Also, she's always struck me as independent, so it must've been disappointing for her to not be given a lot of solo duties right away.

She shines the most when she goes to her own events, she gets to give speeches and grant audiences on her own. Notice when she visits radio stations or anything to do with the media/journalism and visit schools and children, she is so happy to be there.

She's actually gained more weight now. Have you seen her back in 2006-2007? She was at her thinnest then, the skin on her face was stretched against her cheekbones. Her sister's death made it worse.

nash, yes, I have noticed that she sparkles when she visits radio stations and places to do with media/journalism. And she does have genuine smiles and caring looks when around children. I wouldn't want her "job" except to be married to the prince who I hope is very supportive of his lovely wife.

I've photos of Letizia with the other royal children who all seem very fond of her and Filipe as well.

It must have been horrible for her to lose her sister like that and while Letizia was pregnant. The royal family did come to her side which I was impressed with.

The queen seems to take it all in stride with smiles and also seems genuinely fond of Letizia. Of course Sonia has been doing this for a very long time and may not have had a career before becoming a Queen.
