'Water For Elephants': Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon Talk Love Scenes, Kissing (VIDEO)

But did he bite?

Reese Witherspoon and "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson feature as a forbidden couple in the upcoming early 20th century circus drama "Water for Elephants," and nothing about the film has gotten more buzz than their supposedly steamy love scenes.

Hope they edit out the giggles, based on what they told Entertainment Tonight.

The pair sat down to talk about filming together -- Reese says she's "lucky" to be able to kiss Rob -- and said it's quite the good time.

"We'll probably just laugh the whole time, because all we do is joke around and laugh... we just have a great time."

There's also a bit of awkward, oedipal chat -- Pattinson played an aged Witherspoon's son in the 2004 film "Vanity Fair," though the scene was eventually cut.

If there was a body-language expert decoded their promo poster pose, it'd be all negatives: No chemistry, not even looking at each other, not even in same shot, scale all wrong; total disaster!

I noticed that too. maybe they designed it for some reason to do with the film-- but not gazing in each others eyes --it doesn't look to hot.

The book was excellent. I wonder how the movie will turn out.

Did they seriously just put two of the worst actors in a film together.

He isn't all that socially adept, based on his interview skills. Is he trying to seem cool and aloof or his he just checked-out and non-observant?

He is neither. He is a humble, self-deprecating actor who is nervous. Give the kid a break.

He's a young guy who doesn't let his answers be scripted nor his interviewers questions be screened beforehand. If anything he is probably too honest because people (usually guys) keep giving him a hard time no matter what he says!

That promo shot is done so poorly and creepy. You can tell they're two separate shots of the stars photoshopped together. The ratio of her head size is all wrong, she's so photoshopped it doesn't even look at all like Reese Witherspoon, and she's not even looking at him. Totally lame.

yes we know that he played HER son in Vanity Fair and the scene never made it to the final film. OLD News!--. which will be peddled ad nauseum for the upcoming promos.

I can already predict the response to "love scenes" between these two ... no chemistry. Ugh.

Vanity Fair is a great film.

I can't even bring myself to watch it. I can't believe they would cast him in that part...sigh...

And I was beyond thrilled that he got the part. He's a gorgeous man.

I was also thrilled. I think Robert will do an excellent portrayal of Jacob and the chemistry between Rob and Reese is bound to be great...and yes, he is a gorgeous man.
