Actually, regarding finding a woman closer to his own age-- his ex Heather Locklear is only a few years younger than Richie. He might fare better with a woman who isn't part of the Hollywood scene.

Here is one of his best solo songs, performed live, "Fallen From Graceland." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LgKUdmNg4M

Maybe he won't get divorced if he finds someone closer to his own age!

Rod Stewart has several used wives who might be looking for more alimony.

Love ya Richie and sure hope you find happiness. You might have a bit better luck if you'd update that haircut to something more current and stylish! Good luck!

Why is Liza Minelli looking for a wife?

So let's say Richie meets his future exwife and has children in 2 years. He will be 53, 54 when the child is born. 54 + 18 = ewwwwww

Poor future kids. Grandpa for Daddy.

Richie, you're a bloated 51 year old, too damn old for more children! Sigh, I wish men could reach menopause and not breed too.

Someone should have stopped men like Michael Douglas and Larry King out of kindness to the children.
I have a friend who's 4th wife gifted him with twins when he was 45 (she was supposed to have had her tubes tied during her previous marriage...oops)
He looks 80 now. It's horrid and everyone thinks he's their grandfather...yuck.
He's divorced now and I'm sure he'll end up with another 25 yr old and MORE babies.

As for Bon Jovi; it's true that the radio hits are often formulaic, but some of their deeper album cuts have more substance. Case in point:

Richie has a great guitar solo at 4:24 during "Hey God": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cuJf8gujak

"Dry County,: starting with a great keyboard/drum buildup at the 5-minute mark: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJ1qvTOuMlo

Well, I for one think Richie is quite talented; his solo work stands far above Bon Jovi's music, in my opinion; it's bluesy and soulful. He has a great voice. Here is his song, "Mr. Bluesman," with Eric Clapton guesting on guitar:
