'Angry Birds' Birthday Cake Is Fun To Play, Good To Eat (VIDEO)
How do you say "happy birthday" to an 'Angry Birds' addict? You bake them an interactive birthday cake, modeled after an actual scene from Rovio Mobile's smash-hit gaming franchise.
Electricpig's Mike Cooper recently concocted just such a cake for his son's sixth birthday. The highly detailed and--we presume--highly delicious 'Angry Birds' cake featured a working catapult and edible avian ammunition, plus mouth-watering pigs and scaffolding.
The cake looks impressive, with its detailed characters and precariously balanced pieces, and its destruction looks like a blast. "It took 10 hours to make and 2 minutes to destroy," Cooper said of the cake.
Check out the video (below) to see the playable 'Angry Birds' cake created from scratch, then annihilated by the birthday boy. You can learn step-by-step how to make your own by visiting Electric Pig's 'Angry Birds' cake recipe. Now you can play your 'Angry Birds'--and eat it too!
