James Franco is a student of life. And Yale.
And also Judd Apatow, who has been directing him in television and movies since before it was ok for Franco to say the word "cunnilingus" out loud in front of anyone.
So, naturally, when Franco wanted to know how one goes about hosting The Oscars, he turned to Apatow, who happens to be hosting the Producer's Guild Awards. Together, they came up with a pretty solid plan...provided the Oscar audience isn't terribly uptight.
